Luxury off-roader limited to only 99 units
Another G-Wagen Stuttgart stunner is officially here. 2017 Mercedes - Maybach Landaulet G650 was unveiled before its debut at the Geneva 2017 automotive show and after breaking cover the week last in avideo of the leak.Outdoor off-road follows the dramatic beginnings of the convertible Mercedes Maybach S650 last fall and is the first off-road - and second royal ragtop - of the sub-brand chic.
A limited edition of only 99 G650 Landaulets will be built and is expected to reach affluent homeowners in the fall. From 2015, more 15 000 Mercedes and Maybachs has been made.
"With class Mercedes G Landaulet - Maybach, we now extend the Mercedes Maybach portfolio to include most emblematic and prestigious off-roader of the world," Dr. Jens Thiemer, marketing manager of Mercedes-Benz said in a statement.
"With the fifth model after the S, Pullman class sedan and Cabriolet as well as the Maybach Mercedes Vision 6 see the car, we are emphasizing the importance of the Mercedes Maybach sub-brand for the Mercedes brand family."
Outside, the G650 Gets a lot of chrome, including the guards under radiator grille, front and rear. Wheel rockets flares are treated with taste of carbon fiber and the spare wheel is mounted around back on the right side of the four places. With half the rear end cut, the third brake light is hovering above the spare wheel.
Mercedes says that the wheelbase is 135 inches long, while the total length is 210,4 inches and height 88 inches. The all-terrain vehicle rolls on aluminum rims 22 inches double branches and has a high powerfabric and axles similar to those found on the G63 AMG 6 × 6 and 4× 4² G500.
Mercedes says that axles portals provide a guard on the ground close to 18 inches. The Landaulet boasts 100 percent differential lock, which can be switched on during the move.
Inside, the driver and front passenger get a hardtop, while the rear passengers can go bare-breasted at the push of a button. There is alsoan electric glass partition that separates the front and rear of the vehicle similar to those parts that you would find in a limousine. The glass can be changed from transparent to opaque as well.
Thanks to the extended wheelbase by-22, 75-inches, the rear seat isadjustable to completely reclined. The rear passengers also get a console with Cup holders work thermal between individual seats.
Massage seats all around upholstery two-tone designo get with diamond stitching and are available in four colors of linings. There are three colors for the top of the fabric and four designo paint options.
