Speaking on Twitter, mobile journalist Evan Bliss said: "Global HMD will launch the Nokia 3, 5 and 6 at MWC, and a 3310 tribute."
The original 3310 was released in 2000 and became one of the best-selling handsets of all time, selling more than 100 million units worldwide. As well as reliability, features like snake, programmable ringtones and customisable fascias, helped to give the 3310 its cult status
The launch of the Nokia 6 in January marks the first new smartphone named for emblematic since 2014 handset when Nokia Oyj decided to sell his entire unit at Microsoft.
The new handset has a screen of 5.5 inches of 2.5 D Gorilla Glass, 64 GB of onboard storage, a 16 Megapixel rear camera and a battery of 3 000 mAh.
The smartphone is set to hit the market earlier this year for about $245 (£196), but the Finnish company said it only publishes the device in China at the moment.
As well as the 3310 redesign and more details on the already revealed Nokia 6, other stars of the series are considered 5 Nokia and Nokia 3.
The 3310 original was released in 2000, to replace the previous fan favorite - the 3210.
