Jetpack creators are designing a flying car

A company that has recently published the first backpack ever jet turbine is currently working on a new project to sci-fi-esque: a personalflying car.

While the flying vehicle is still at the concept stage, developers plan to start building the first prototype in six months.

The vehicle would be weak and enough to fit inside a garage a thin space. The design has six arms coming out of the top of the chassis, two in front, two in the middle and two on the back - with the community able to bend in

The plan is to make it a vehicle of type single-seater helicopter that can fit in a car garage.

The design of the flying car, Jetpack Aviation (JPA), company made headlines in 2015 when they released their first jet turbine bag back -JB - 9.

Now, the Van Nuys, California based company has eyes on making space for the transport of people above us.

Uber also tries to assume this space with plans to start flying in the future called Uber Elevate taxi service.

The company is headed by David Mayman, the CEO and NelsonTyler, the Chief Designer, who demonstrated their jetpack in the testthroughout the United

States and Europe flights - and they have alsorecently announced that their jetpacks are available to buy now.

But the company is currently working on a new project to build the first viable flying car.
Mr. Mayman, the CEO, said the new Atlas that while othercompanies, such as Airbus, and Joby are

high-speed winged aircraft that can travel at 2-300 miles per hour (320-480 km/h), JPA is workingon a
different concept.

"We are on the other side.

"We take the inhabited multirotor approach.

"More than anything else, because some of the technology is already proven enough

Speeds are lower - you could talk about 90 miles to the hour (145 kph),
but the size factor is so much smaller because you don't have awing to deal with.

Instead of traditional landing pads, the design has small balls inside.

more if it weren't for the problem of limited battery power capacity

Mr Mayman says that the type of aircraft JPA is designing could fly close to the ground,
at about 2 meters (6.5 feet).

While the design currently only has one seat, it could be upgraded for more if it weren't for the ultimate problem of limited battery power capacity.

But Mr Mayman estimates that in about four years, it might double.

But to get around that, the team is looking to design an type of electric car system with a power generator on board.

They're looking to build in a very small turbine motor the size of a coke can, which they've had experience with when developing their jetpacks.

This kind of a motor could produce a lot of power as a generator.

Aside from the battery power problem, Mr Mayman said drone technology has advanced autopilot and stabilization technologies, so much so that there's very little R&D to do.

In terms of degree of safety the device is, the team working on because you could lose half of your engines and down again at a rate without

danger but they also seek in a landing gear system that can collapse in a certain way, a ballistic parachute to slow down and airbag system crash.

Mr. Mayman said it would take about six months to develop the firstprototype of the flying car, if it has good cash flow.

"We are working as if it was a two three dimensional world, the journey in the series, the car after car after car", he said.
"All this air space above us is completely unused between 100 and 1,000 feet.
"One day, this space will be used.
"We have plans making part of that."
